Detox Day 4: Feeling Good

I’m really digging the affirmations and visualizations that I’ve been trying for this detox. I’ve tried out several on youtube and other websites. Here are my favorites so far:

  • Heal Yourself Positive Affirmations – Short and sweet, and they give you enough time to repeat affirmations (some don’t!)
  • 5 Minute Affirmations – Also nice and short, and comes with an intro to affirmations at the beginning
  • Food + Spirit 7-day detox visualizations: Could this be more perfect for my plan!? I listen to one of these each day after lunch. Anywhere from 6-9 minutes each. It’s sort of a guided meditation.
  • 20 Morning Affirmations: This is a printable pdf. I taped it on my nightstand and read it right when I wake up every morning.
  • Right Eating Affirmations: There are several different topics in the right margin. I chose 4-5 and made separate recordings on my phone using the voice memo function. This allows you to edit the affirmations to fit your needs.

AM Green Juice: kale, arugula, basil, cucumber, celery, green apple

Breakfast: Banana-Berry Coconut Smoothie (see recipe here) + Bone Broth

Worked out and hit the steam room

No snack, so I was absolutely starving and tempted to cheat. Better have a snack tomorrow, so I don’t get to that stage.

Pre-lunch green juice was excellent…

I did the 4th affirmation on this site, and tried to rest for a few minutes.

Afternoon snack was sunflower seeds and raisins.

  • guacamole (avo, lemon juice, and sea salt) with plantain chips (plantains, palm oil, salt)
  • raw carrots
  • garlic green beans
  • bone broth
